Gosnell

Perhaps the most relaxing place to work for our technicians is this conservatory in Mount Kisco New York. A large fountain (maintained by Evergreen) is surrounded by large Australian tree ferns and dozens of other plants. Orchids and bromeliads are used for color.

RBS

In 2009 Evergreen Environments won national honors from the Plantscape Industry Alliance (PIA) for this challenging installation at the RBS headquarters in Stamford CT. Eleven 20’ Ficus trees were taken by crane to the 8th floor of the building. They were then brought in through a window and lowered by hand down to the 6th floor atrium level. Large scale plantings decorate the rest of the building as well. All plants in this building use special sub-irrigation planters that reduce the amount of maintenance visits necessary to care for the plants.

Riverview

Located in Norwalk CT, this medical complex has many windows and is subject to extreme temperature variations. The large ceiling height also posed a challenge. Extra height was given to the plants by using tall planters, keeping floor space open and minimizing pedestrian traffic congestion.
